Golden Heavy Body Acrylic, 5oz., Interference Violet

This line of heavy body acrylics from Golden Artist Colors® is perfect for painters looking for professional-quality paint with an interference effect. Interference colors feature varying colors when viewed from different perspectives; they flip between a bright opalescent color and its opalescent complement when applied over white surfaces. Over darker surfaces, the bright opalescent color is very noticeable, but the interference effect is not evident. Combine with small amounts of color to achieve unique color ranges, mix with gels for impasto effects or thin with mediums for glazing applications. When a very small amount of black is added, this color produces deeper, richer, opalescent effects.
