Alcohol Inks

Alcohol inks can be used on a variety of porous surfaces, including some fabrics. However, it's important to note that not all fabrics will work well with alcohol inks, and some may require special preparation or treatment before use.

The best fabrics to use with alcohol inks are those that are made of natural fibers, such as cotton, silk, or wool. These fabrics tend to absorb the ink more readily, resulting in vibrant and long-lasting colors. Synthetic fabrics, such as polyester or nylon, may not absorb the ink as well and can result in a more muted or faded appearance.

If you plan to use alcohol inks on fabric, it's a good idea to do a test swatch first to ensure that the fabric is compatible with the ink and that the colors are to your liking. Alcohol ink is permanent on most surfaces.
