Description
Paper cranes have been a symbol of peace since Sadako Sasaki, a young atomic bomb victim, folded 1,000 of them before her death from leukemia at the age of 12 in 1955. Today, about 10 million paper cranes are sent to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park annually from around the world. Imbued with the prayers for peace of those who folded them, these paper cranes have once again been turned into origami paper. Each time this Zutto Orizuru Zutto Origami paper is folded into a paper crane, the hopes and prayers of all those who folded it before intermingle and multiply.
