Description
- Pebeo Self-Adhesive Lead Strips may be applied to all smooth, degreased surfaces: Plexiglas, glass, metal, wood, plastic, etc. It can be used in combination with Pebeo Vitrail Colors to imitate stained glass effects without cutting glass, to create borders for surfaces prior to applying liquid mediums such as Pebeo Vitrail, Fantasy Colors or Gedeo resins, or as an inclusion in Mixed Media artwork.
- Simply lay out lead and cut to size using a razor knife. Degrease surface. Remove paper backing from the lead strip and place gently onto the surface while guiding it along the desired pattern or edges of the surface depending on the intended use. Once in place, press firmly on top of the lead to ensure proper adhesion. At intersections, be sure the top lead piece is pressed securely to the bottom piece. If applied all over painted surfaces, wait for the paint to dry completely (24 hrs). Do not bake the adhesive lead strips -- lead strips are intended for decorative purposes only. Wipe to clean with a damp cloth. For a thinner strip, cut in 2, length wise.
