Marbling Paints & Sets

Marbling paints are specially formulated to float on the surface of water or a thickened liquid (called a marbling size), allowing artists to create intricate, swirling patterns that resemble marble. These paints are typically lightweight and slow-drying, so they remain suspended on the surface long enough to be manipulated with tools like combs or styluses. Once the desired pattern is achieved, paper, fabric, or other porous materials are carefully laid onto the surface to pick up the design.
