Description
Handmade and air dried in Nepal, Lokta is a veritable staple for fine artists, printers and crafters. This acid-free handmade paper perpetuates traditional Japanese papermaking in the manner in which it is poured and air dried. This direct relationship with the earth means that production is influenced by the elements, sometimes producing interesting variations. Lokta has long and luxurious fibers, giving the sheets their natural shine. The paper sheets measure 20" x 30", are acid-free and feature four deckled edges. Manufactured by hand in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal by a certified fair trade workshop. As products are handmade, small variations in color and thickness can occur.
