Gamblin Ground makes a strong, bright foundation for oil paintings that makes canvas and linen stiffer than acrylic "gesso" and more flexible than traditional oil primers. Alkyd resin is more flexible and fast-drying than lead/linseed oil grounds. Only two coats needed. Formulated with Gamsol. Made in the USA.
