A breakthrough brush for all media, Bristlon is a stiff white synthetic designed for use in oils, water-mixable oils, caseins and acrylic colors. It has long-lasting interlocked construction and finely chiseled tips, providing excellent resiliency. After every stroke the brush returns perfectly to shape. Bristlon retains stiffness in water or oil media. Perfect on rough surfaces, Bristlon offers long wear and excellent color control with brush strokes. Bristlon filaments hold color and release it evenly. It has a sensational resiliency that's ideal for heavy bodied colors. Bristlon cleans up with any artists' solvent or water without damaging the brush head. Superbly fashioned Bristlon uses the finest construction and material: Seamless nickeled brass ferrules, double epoxy sealed heads, firmly fitted to blue handles with silver tips. Brights: Length and width of brush is generally squared. Similar to flats, but shorter hairs make a stiffer brush. Filberts: Create a softer edge than a flat or bright. Flats: Longer hairs than a bright, this brush has more flex and a large color carrying capability. Rounds: Smaller sizes are typically used for detail work and larger sizes tend to be used for washes and filling in color.
